Harp Middle East

Founded in 1999 as Al Khaleej Refrigerant Gas LLC, the company was established to provide International standard levels of service to the growing number of companies in the region demanding such.

The second phase of the company’s development was in 2004 and involved changing the company name to Harp Middle East LLC coinciding with expansion into other activities, primarily food additives and chemicals, taking advantage of our group’s global activity and purchasing power.

Biodegradable products manufactured from natural renewable resources feature strongly including organic acids like lactic acid and derivatives thereof used in many different industries from food to cosmetics to janitorial products. Harp ME distributes an extensive range of European manufactured food products throughout the Middle East as well as American manufactured food fibres. Full support and co-operation is provided by multi-national partners Corbion Purac, Carinsa, Fiberstar and BDF.

The company is actively looking to expand its portfolio of ethically produced and environmentally benign chemicals and expects to make further announcements in this respect during 2016.

Harp ME stocks a full range of refrigerants including R-22, R-134A, R-404A, R-407C, R-410A, R-417C and R-507. All products are offered in disposable and environmentally friendly refillable cylinders (various sizes).

In 2010 Harp ME opened a subsidiary operation in Qatar, Harp Middle East (Qatar) LLC stocking the same range of refrigerants as the UAE parent company.

Harp ME has extensive laboratory capabilities in the UAE for industry standard analysis allowing the company to satisfy its own analysis requirements as well as those of third parties. Quality, environmental awareness, competitiveness and service are the cornerstones of the company.
